This woman is a strong creative type. She has used her skills in a variety of settings. We first ran into Lora several years ago as she was working for City Pages at a fashion show we were attending. She was photographing the different fashions of the attendees and the show itself.

Now the second in command at the small creative firm, Emily Shoop Design, she is well established in her graphic design career. Her art, which she shares on her instagram (@coloraco), is full of portraits, animals and still life. What we find most striking is her presence. She will teach a stranger how to play bocce ball, bike all over the city with you, play guitar, and host knitting parties. Her life is one that is a reflection of her art, meaningful, adventurous, full of character and love. She is undeniably present.
